I love Italy. And I love to plan trips to Italy. I spend hours devouring blogs, reading reviews and in many cases, actually visiting many of the places we will visit before carefully choosing every detail of these adventures. I am always on the hunt for the most beautiful accommodation run by the absolute kindest hosts. I search out off-the-beaten path experiences with locals who then provide us intimate glimpses into their lives .... offering my guests invaluable opportunities for unique experiences. Nothing beats developing personal connections. My goal is to create them and build upon them with each visit.
Traveling to Italy is exciting. But the work involved in order to successfully pull off a hassle-free vacation can be daunting. Relax and let me take care of all of the details. I will get our train tickets ahead of time so you won't have to wait in lines. Our private drivers, will safely transport us to corners of Italy that are unreachable by public transportation. Our accommodations will include Agritourismos, Hotels and Airbnbs ... each carefully chosen. And fantastic. Often I will hire a private guide to join us for part of the trip .... a guide who is ours alone and will share personal stories of their experience of Italy. There will be down time built into each trip with options to do (or not do) as you please. Explore on your own, or join with others on specific excursions. And because the groups are so small ... we can move about easily and have the flexibility to change course on a whim. Oh. And the food .... Good lord, the food! And the wine. Thank goodness we will spend much of our time walking .... so feel free to indulge! Italians eat food that is local and in-season ... so often our choices will depend on the time of year that we visit. Pasta and olive oil, though, will always be on the menu! And I have made it my mission to track down the creamiest and most flavorful artisanal gelato! My goal is to provide you with an incredible experience. To seek out beautiful places and kind people. To explore less touristed places in Italy. To get a taste of the local culture. And most importantly ... to spend time with locals to really get a sense of the culture, history and day-to-day life of each place we visit. Each trip is unique. Let's explore together! |
